This course is for you if:

• You want to connect with the words of Allah in their original language
• You want to read the Quran on your own without the transliteration
• You have already tried multiple times, but it didn’t click
• You want to learn the basics in a relaxed and friendly environment
• You forgot how to read
• You’d like to correct your pronunciation of Arabic

Course Curriculum

The Arabic Alphabet

We will use the Nooraniyyah Alphabet book to work through the entire Arabic alphabet starting with Alif!

Vowels

After the alphabet, we will move on to vowels.

Words

Then we will practice reading words found in the Quran and some short surahs, focusing on fluency.

What are the pre-requisites for this class?

We start from zero, so there are no prerequisites for this course. Anyone can join in.

What curriculum will we be using?

We will be using the Quranic Arabic curriculum by Imam Adam Jamal from getquranic.com. It has been taught to hundreds of students with great success.

Will there be homework?

After each lesson, make time to practice what you've learned. There is no set homework. It is up to you how much time you spend on your review.
